System forms
Most administrative functions, such as establishing your organization's desired application configuration and security settings, are completed using system forms.
System form descriptions

DBA Utilities |
This system form contains several utilities to enhance and diagnose the performance of the underlying database. These include: Update provider display order, Copy user group security, Update CPT/ICD Codes, Update area codes, and Database Sync In addition, applications and profiles downloaded from the customer section of our website may imported into the application via this form. On premise installations also include Validate user emails. |
Files - Master Setup | This system form is used to designate which forms and files are "active" in the application. Depending on the setting chosen, forms, queries, documents, reports, and others can be displayed or hidden. Auditing is also enabled for each form or file type via this system form. |
Flat File Filter Setup | symplr Provider provides flat file filters for basic demographic information such as addresses, licenses, and specialties. The Flat File Filter Setup system form allows you to customize these filters using filter expressions. |

Affiliation Letter Configuration | Ties in with our Affiliation Letters product. Shows all User Accounts and letter generation history. |
Application Manager Configuration | Various configuration settings for the optional Application Manager module. |
Application Manager Users | Use this system form to grant current application users access to the optional Application Manager module. Once the users have been successfully added, they will be available for selection and can be assigned to various tasks in Application Manager. |
CAQH Export Configuration | The types of data included in our optional CAQH bulk upload (a pipe-delimited file consisting of symplr Provider provider data) may be customized using the CAQH Export Configuration system form. |
Committee Manager Configuration | The Committee Manager settings determine how your organization will use Committee Manager and the users and user groups authorized to conduct reviews processes. |
Internal Provider Directory Configuration | Various configuration settings for the optional Internal Provider Directory. |
Pharmacy Lookup Configuration | Manage user access to Pharmacy Lookup. |
Provider Directory Configuration | Various configuration settings for the optional Provider Directory. |

Entities - Master Setup |
Once a user/user group has been set up in the application, rights may be assigned to that user/user group. The main function of the group must be considered when determining which access rights to assign the group. Once the purpose of the group has been identified, the Entities - Master Setup system form can be used to assign access and rights to the forms/files. The program offers system administrators a wide variety of options for configuring user groups and the rights each user will inherit. This form is also used to set the log on message that appears upon login, when changing entities, and as a banner message on the Home hub. |
Security Manager | This system form provides a central location for you to administer security for all symplr Provider forms, queries, documents, and other files, as well as set access to multiple files and user groups. |
Security Policy Setup |
Use this system form to control how a user accesses the application, including LDAP. In addition, elements such as password age, length, complexity, encryption, and lockout threshold can be configured via the form to provide additional security. Warning!

Users - Master Setup | To use the application, each user must be assigned a User ID and password. Use this system form to create a user profile, associate the user to a specific user group, and manage access in the application. |
User Groups - Master Setup | Use this system form to set up a user group. This is the first step in assigning access in the program. A user group may consist of a single user, or multiple users with similar responsibilities. |

Event Viewer | This system form displays events, such as errors, exceptions, warnings, login attempts, and informational messages originating from any service within symplr Provider. |
Institution Merge Utility | When you need to eliminate duplicate institution records, you can use the Institution Merge Utility system form in symplr Provider to merge multiple institutions into a single institution automatically. |
Internal Provider Directory Config | Various configuration settings for the Internal Provider Directory. |
System Information | This system form provides greater control over several of the default settings in the application, such as setting session timeouts and enabling address validation. Configure email, web services, and service proxy settings via this form. |
System Scheduled Tasks | System scheduled tasks are provided by symplr and included in the application Data Requirements package. These system tasks are set to run on a particular schedule that meets the needs of most customers; however, the default settings may be adjusted in the System Scheduled Tasks system form with the assistance of symplr, if necessary. |
Web Service Configuration |
This system form is used for custom web services (or custom projects) and for storing URL's related to web services that accompany symplr Provider FormBank and Peer Reviews. This form should not be modified prior to consulting with the symplr development team. |
