Set access to form fields

You can restrict a user group's access to fields within a form in security setup mode. To manage a form's field-level security settings for a user group, complete the following steps.

Prerequisite

You must have the required symplr Provider security and files must be activated and accessible at the entity prior to setting field-level access. See Activate a file and Manage entity access to a file for more information.

  1. Open the form in security setup mode using one of the following methods.
    SituationSteps
    From the symplr Provider toolbar
    1. Open a form.
    2. On the symplr Provider toolbar, click More.
    3. Select Set Security.
    From search results
    1. Search for a form.
    2. In the Search Results, locate the form, then click Edit Security .
  2. In the User Group grid, select the user group.
    1. Optionally, you can add a user group to the User Group grid by completing the following substeps.

      1. Click Add .

      2. In Add User Groups, select one or more user groups, then click OK.

      3. Click Save.
