Update area codes

When an area code changes, running the Area Code Update utility quickly updates all affected phone numbers in symplr Provider. To mass update area codes, complete the following steps.

You must have the required symplr Provider security to run this utility.

Area code information should be updated with caution. All phone numbers in symplr Provider, Group Addresses, Addresses, and Institutions are directly affected when running this utility.

1. Open the DBA Utilities system form.
2. In the Database Administration section, click Area Code Update.
3. In the Update Area code stepper, complete each step as instructed on screen. (See Steppers)
4. After the utility has run, close the DBA Utilities work item.
