Set access to attachments

You can restrict a user group's access to view and edit form attachments. To manage security settings for attachments, complete the following steps.

Note

The security rights granted to a symplr Provider user group for one form apply to all attachements attached to all forms in symplr Provider.

Prerequisite

You must have the required symplr Provider security to set security for attachments.

  1. To begin, you must first open the form in security setup mode. To open a form in security setup mode, complete the following steps depending on the situation.
    SituationSteps
    From the symplr Provider toolbar
    1. Open a form.
    2. On the symplr Provider toolbar, click More.
    3. Select Set Security.
    From search results
    1. Search for a form.
    2. In the Search Results, locate the form, then click Edit Security .
  2. In the User Group grid, select the user group.
    1. Optionally, you can add a user group to the User Group grid by completing the following substeps.

      1. Click Add .

      2. In Add User Groups, select one or more user groups, then click OK.

      3. Click Save.
