Profiles

The term "profile" is used to describe provider summary reports and applications (state, federal, or payor) that have been programmed to auto-populate with symplr Provider data when run. The user can choose the provider data to display in the profile by adjusting the profile settings.

Depending on the security rights granted to you by the system administrator at your organization, you may run or edit a profile, or both.

Running a profile

When you run a profile, the results are sent to the inbox hub. You can run a profile using Send To functionality in a query or on select forms that include the blue key. (See Use the Send To feature)

Note

Only providers with EA (Entity Associate) records are included when you run a profile.

Editing a profile

If you have the necessary security rights, you can create a new symplr Provider profile, or edit the settings of an existing one. You can also define what action symplr Provider performs when a user runs a profile.

Note

Your user profile (accessed through your user name on the title bar) is unrelated of the data profiles outlined above.
