Tracking the Progress of a Submitted Issue
As a portal user, there is a way to track/review the status, follow-up comments and resolutions related to an issue you have submitted.
To review the current status of your form as an anonymous user

Go to the Portal.

In the Tracking Number textbox, enter the tracking number of the form.

Click Submit.
To review the current status of your form as an authenticated user

Go to the Portal and log in.

Click on the Tracking Number within the Owned or Submitted by Me widget.

The Status pop-up displays upon entering the tracking number.

If the investigation has been finished, the resolution type will contain the final conclusion entered by a person who made the decision to close the investigation. Otherwise, the resolution will remain pending. Depending on the deployment options set by the form’s architect, some forms may not display the resolution.

Displays the comment entered by a person who moved the item associated with the tracking number you’ve entered to its current status. Depending on the deployment options set by the form’s architect, some forms may not display the comments.
Adding and viewing comments
As a portal user (anonymous or authenticated) you can add comments to an issue you have submitted for the incident manager to view within the Status pop up. You can also view any comments added by the incident manager from here.
Adding and viewing comments as an anonymous user

Open the Portal.

In the Tracking Number textbox, enter the tracking number of the form.

Click Submit.

Enter your comment within the text area.

Click Add Comment.
A comment added by an anonymous user will be displayed within the grid with anonymous displayed as the Added By. From here, the anonymous user can also view comments added by the incident manager. A comment added by an incident manager will be displayed as Administrator in the Added By column.
Adding and viewing comments as an authenticated user

Go to the Portal and log in.

Click on the tracking number within the Owned or Submitted by Me widget.
When there is a new comment for you to view, you will see a green indicator next to the tracking number.

Enter your comment within the text area in the Status pop-up.

Click Add Comment.
A comment added by an authenticated user will display that user’s name within the Added By column. The authenticated user can view comments added by the Incident Manager from here as well. Comments added by the incident manager will display the incident manager’s name within the Added By column.
