Creating a Corrective Action Template for Survey Management Integration
Customers who subscribe to both Survey Management (SM) and Issue & Action Management (IAM) have the ability to manage corrective actions that stem from a survey within both symplr applications. For the integration to be enabled, contact your symplr Implementation Specialist or compliancesupport@symplr.com to arrange to have the designated IAM template associated with SM. The name of the template and the template url will need to be included in the email. Until this association has been completed by the symplr Operations Team, users will not be able to attach corrective action items to a survey(s). There may only be one IAM corrective action template associated to SM. Once corrective actions have been created, the template cannot be changed to a different template. However, modifications can always be made to the corrective actions template if needed.
For the Issue & Action Management (IAM) template you want to associate with Survey Management (SM) it is recommended to CREATE a NEW Corrective Action template and include ‘Survey Management’ in the name of this template to allow users to easily identify the template being used for this integration. When creating a new template, include the organization unit field to auto populate the organization unit(s) associated with respondent(s). To auto populate the organization unit field with multiple organizations, set the organization unit control to multi-select. Creating a new template is beneficial, so that users will only see items specifically relating to a survey.
